RISING SUN RALLY
Saturday, August 27, 2011
The 2011 Rising Sun Rally is scheduled for Saturday August 27th, 2011. We plan to return to the Jefferson County stadium near the southeast corner of US6 and Kipling in Lakewood, CO. The Rising Sun Rally is a Toyota 4x4 and Land Cruiser car show and swap meet where enthusiasts can gather and show off their rigs, buy and sell parts, visit with vendors, and share stories about their rigs. There will also be several organized trail runs on Sunday where you'll have a chance to exercise your Toyota 4x4 on the Colorado high country trails.

2011 Summer Trips
The summer is fast approaching, and despite the record snowfall in the Colorado high country, Rising Sun members are already organizing day trips and weekend getaways. Annual runs like Blow Off Work and Go Wheelin (BOWAGW), Father's Day on Spring Creek, Triple Bypass, and Labor Day Weekend in Ouray are in the planning stages, plus the Black Hills Cruiser Classic, Camp Hale weekend, and the Outlaws run are all on the calendar.
In addition, work days are scheduled for Rising Sun's two adopted trails, Jenny Creek and Argentine Pass. The Argentine Pass work day is scheduled for Sunday, June 26th, and the Jenny Creek clean up is on the calendar for Saturday, July 16th.

CRUISE MOAB 2011
Cruise Moab 2011 wrapped up on May 8th 2011. The 14th rendition of the Toyota 4wd event in Moab, Utah was another huge success, with hundreds of Toyotas from all over the world in attendance.
Huge thanks to the 2011 Cruise Moab Committee for all their hard work in planning and executing the details necessary to pull it off. And of course a special thanks goes out to all the volunteers, the trail leaders, and the sponsors - without you guys we could not have held such a premier event.

FJ62 Raffle Vehicle: The winner was Josh Jones from N.C. Congrats! Thanks to everyone that supported such a worthy cause. This years cruiser was #2 all time in sales in the 20+ year history of the CoA4WDCi, just missing the #1 mark by a few hundred dollars.
