Looking to buy a used oil level indicator that installs in the upper oil pan on the drivers side.

Thanks.

Yep.

This will be a tough part to source unless I can find a engine that someone is parting out. The part from CruiserDan equals $280.00!

What's wrong with your current one? Do you have issues beyond an intermittent low oil light when in fact your oil level is fine?

I recently pulled both pans to reseal with FIPG. When I grabbed the oil level indicator off the bench, it slipped out of my hands and dropped on the floor. Half of the plastic "float" broke off. I removed the remaining float and reinstalled but did not hook up the connector, thinking that I don't need it because I check my oil often. Now the check oil light is illuminated on the dash.

Christo came to my rescue this morning with a used one for a good price.

BTW, no more oil leaks! I also did a PM HG replacement too. She is running gooooooood.
