I need some square steel tube for my shackle mod but cannot find where to get some. I looked at Home Depot but they only have the thin crap. I don't want to have to buy a 10 or 20 ft stick either I need about 8" total length for this.

I have some 2" square tubing w-1/4" wall that will work. I also have a saw and a MIG. If you want to come up here I will do it for you. I will be home by ~ 3pm.

I'm in Broomfield. PM me if interested.

Altitude steel. Pay cash and don't drive up in your Bentley. Open Saturday 8:00-11:30am so you had better leave now ;)

I'm 100% for meeting another member of this scene and while I do have a mig welder it is not that great by any standards. I am sending you a PM.

+1 for Altitude. It should be Attitude, as in good one. Great service, fair pricing. Good deals in their scrap pile (which is hardly scrap, just oddball pieces but fine for what we do).

A huge thanks goes out to Jim. He let me come up and hooked me up big time. We got the steel he had welded in place and cut the excess metal off the ends of the rigged setup the PO had. This should hold for about a month when I get my OME Heavy kit.

Thanks again.

Ahh crap. Sorry Jeff.

I don't think there was any difference in the way the truck drove home with the bracing other than my peace of mind knowing the braces are there.
