Time to sell my FJ 40 It has all smog equipment removed but everything taken off will sell with it. I have installed OME springs and shocks along with a shackle reversal kit. Power steering was also added. The tires are 33" BF Goodrich M/T with just under 500 miles on them. A bikini top, safari doors, tailgate panel, roof rack a rebuilt starter are also included. The FJ has never been damaged as far as I know. The frame is in good condition the worst rust is on the back under the doors and corners. The white 1978 FJ 40 and tow dolly are also for sale. I have the top, glass and interior door panels for the 78. $8,500 takes everything. I have more pictures if needed. Cell # is 785-643-1057 Home 785-827-6867 ask for Jeff

That 1980 is a sweet rig, and the 1978 looks like a nice builder.

Pull the 40 out on the tow dolly for Ken and swing buy and drop the dolly off at my place :hill: - Have you used the dolly to tow the 40 much and if so how does it do? I've heard tow dollys are "sketchy" :o

I've heard tow dollys are "sketchy"You don't want to back up with an articulated dolly. This one looks to be fixed tho. Once loaded, I wouldn't back up a fixed dolly either. At least never again.:o

I have pulled it to Breckenridge on the tow dolly with the drive shaft removed and 2 tires from the 78 on it ,behind my LX 450 and had no problems. Don"t plan on backing up.

I know you're not parting these out, but if you're interested selling the roof rack, I'd buy it

Thanks John.

I called your cell phone last Sunday to speak to you about the FJ's and car dolly. Do you still have them for sale? If so please reply and I will get you my contact information.

Thanks,

Stan
