I have a line on a very nice, built 1976 FJ40 for sale. I am trying to determine if anyone would be interested. (I would be interested, but.......:() I will post the specs tomorrow, but for now, the pics are attached.

Here are the specs:

350 Chevy V8 bored out to 355
Dyno tested
408 HP
Carb: 750 Edelbrock
Electric fan
Aluminum 4-core radiator
High-output alternator
Tranny: 700R4 automatic
TC: New, Orion

38.5x14.5 Super Swampers
4-link suspension in back
Disk brakes all the way around
Original frame
Some sort of mechanical lockers

New aluminum tub
Painted with Rhino-liner (or some other brand--I don't know)
No top
1/2 doors
Roll cage
On-board welder
No winch
5-point seat harnesses
Fuel cell
Removable rear seat

I think that some of the original parts and some additional goodies are included for this price, but I am not sure--they may be additional $. These include ARB air lockers, 480 gears, leaf springs, heater, rear heater.

The asking price is $14k. Do ya'll (Okie for "all of you" ;)) think that this is reasonable?

I unzipped your files and am posting up 5 of the pictures.

That's a very custom rig, almost to competition level. I'd bet that $14k is a fair price, but I bet it will take a while to sell at that price. Drop the price just under $10k and it will sell quickly. Depends on whether the seller is more motivated by a quick sale or maximizing his return.

I bet that rig would be fun fun fun. :)
