I tracked down the leak in my air system, and it is getting very annoying.

I need an inline check valve (1/8" or 1/4") and really need to pick it up this afternoon. Does anyone know where I could find one in town, preferably south side? I am jammed for time today...

I grabbed one from the emission tubing of an old Chinook at Colorado Auto Salvage, it is probably too small for what you are needing, but you are welcome to give it a try. I know you are jammed for time, but shouldn't take too long to find what you need walking the yard - and you'd get in some PT.

They're very cheap at Grainger. I've used them in custom air tank designs before - made of brass, and just a few bucks.

Purrrrrrfect. Didn't realize Grainger was (sorta) southside either!
And I drove to the 1-25/Broadway Light Rail just on a hunch. Thanks!

Hmmm... had to set up a business account.

Ah, well, easy enough. Meet the sole proprietor of East Tincup Mercantile.
