Been doing a lot of modifying knives lately... thought some of you might be interested. I'm mostly working in carbon fiber and making handles for knife blanks, like Benchmades and Spyderco's.

It has been like grown up arts and crafts :thumb:

So do you pick the type of knive and then pull the handle off a make a new handle i have a brother inlaw that is in ti knive's this might be a good gift idea hmm..we should talk at the rally..

It depends on most Benchmades that I do I pull the handles (scales) and then replace them with whatever material I chose. These spyderco's come blank with no scales.

Matt each of those pictured about is carbon fiber... I buy scraps from the aerospace industry :D

It is NASTY stuff to work with but looks cool and is tough as the steel in this application while keeping the weight down.
