There is a factory connector that is part of the loom entering the drivers side rear that I was wondering could it be wiring for the trailer lights?

The connector I believe is a six pin female, right in the center of the car. This loom goes into the car at the same place that the ABS/DIFF-Lock harness would to go to get to the front of the car. If anyone knows exactly what this connector is for, that would be :thumb: . Wish I had a picture, but found it too late last night.

There are some plugs more towards the center of the rear, where the Kaymar lights plug into. I think those could be used for trailer lights as well. This is also on my list, I still don't have brake lights working just running lights & blinkers.. and I was wanting to get that done before Moab last year. :snail:

There are two harnesses back there. According to CDan, they are used for non-US trailers. IIRC, they have running lights, brake lights and reverse lights, but no turn signals.

Many/most 80's came with a tow package that included after-market wiring that taps into the rear brake lights.
