Thinking of running something Wednesday the 16th of September. Anyone want to skip work and wheel? I'm kicking around Twin Cone, perhaps Slaughterhouse, possibly Jenny Creek, maybe Argentine? I'm open to suggestions.

Shake-down for the 40s-only run?:D
I have not been on any of the trails you mentioned so I'm happy to follow you anywhere.

The 40 is currently requiring the least amount of work to be trail ready. :o
I need to tear into the front end of the hilux to figure out what's making the rumbling noise when it's in 4WD, and the front DS needs ujoints. My 60 is sitting on the bumpstops in back and is missing shock bushings in front. The 40 just needs a spare DS swapped in. :hill:

Killin' me. Wednesday?

Man, I've GOT to find a better alternative to this work thing.

Anyone looking at going up this weekend?

Martin, what time were you looking to head out? I have meetings in the morning, but could bust out at 12:00 and be in Conifer by 1:00. If you don't mind leaving that late - I'd be up for Slaughter house or some 40's Only pre-run.

I'm in the same boat as you Ricardo. I just pm'd Martin as follows:

I can be in Conifer ready to go at 1:00pm. Let's do it. I won't have a curfew. ;)

Ricardo and Dan:

Sounds good to me. Let's meet at the Staples/Margaritas Parking Lot in Conifer at 1:00. Then we'll head up towards Grant and go up Webster Pass, down into the Swan, then maybe back up Georgia.

John:

If your appt is finished early and you can get up to Conifer by 1:00, hope you can join us too.

I'll be on HAM 146.460 and CB channel 4.

:mad:It's at 1:30 at a locat5ion in Aurora I've never been to. Feels like it's gonna be a waste of a perfectly good day.

:cheers:But you guys have fun -- good to see Martin will not be solo. October is gonna be my month, I can just feel it. My summer has been rough.

wish I could go but since I have to train my temporary replacement this week. If I can sneak out I may try to meet you guys but no promises what so ever.

You guys have a great time, do some wheel stands for me:thumb:

I'm likely to fall short of meeting the expectation Tom. Perhaps Dan can get his front wheels up in the air. :D If you can get out of the office, we'll be monitoring on 146.146 and channel 4.

No wories any wheel stand is a good one. Not sure but I will keep trying, what run did you guys decide on?

Its a bit long of a long name, best quoted in its entirety from Martin's post above. It is the Let's meet at the Staples/Margaritas Parking Lot in Conifer at 1:00. Then we'll head up towards Grant and go up Webster Pass, down into the Swan, then maybe back up Georgia. run:D.

We'll play it by ear. If it's storming, we probably won't want to be up too high in the exposed terrain, but if it's clear, then we'll go for it. My objective is to pre-run some sections of the 40's Only Run and see if I can get Ricardo or Dan stuck or doing wheel stands. :D

Sure Martin, go ahead and get me stuck. I'll just sit in the truck while you do all the shovel work like last time! :hill:

Anybody down for hitting a trail before the meeting?

I might be, depending on what's open...

I'd be down to do something west of Boulder, I've never been.

I'm not too concerned on distance, just snow and traction so my street tires can make it :( though I've never had problems going anywhere with them, I've run Bunce, Plane Crash, and Middle St. Vrain west of Boulder on them.

sorry!! I was called in to work...well more like a roll over and a 'you got this one' but none the less it left me thinking somewhere out there is a trail needing some wear.
