So, I started and finished this little project on Sunday afternoon. I had to get out in the garage to build something and this little project had been in my mind for quite some time.

Can you guess what it is? :p:

Make a similar part in the shape of G, screw them into your bumper, and you're done.

I wanted to get the HUGE license plate bracket off the rear tailgate so I could get a gas can or water can out onto the swing arm of the tire carrier. I am going to use a few of those LED bolts to mount the license plate on so I am legal. Plus I shaved like 1.2lbs of weight which should help me get the trailer up the pass ;)

you mean the stock license plate bracket?

Drew, you could probably sell those, especially if they came with lights.

How does it mount on the back? Do you have any kind of pin that keeps it from swiveling?

Matt-

Thanks for the kind words. It was easy to make and although I don't want to start up a side job, I could whip up a few for the fellas in the club if there was some interest. I did drill a hole in the mount and the tire mounting bracket so a ball bearing can sit in there and not allow it to pivot, but so far it hasn't needed it. It is just attached with a wing nut and lock washer, it is so light it doesn't need any more torque to hold it on. I am going to use a couple LED light bolts to mount the plate and I have an unused hole at the base of the "T" if the plate starts to flap and rattle.

Here are a few pics...:thumb:
