Well, it's done. We married off the elder son and to a fine young woman at that.

I have always believed in marrying above one's station... and Justin certainly did that! :lmao:

I know I am biased... but it was the best wedding I've ever been to, bar none. I cried, son cried, other son cried (and sang WONDERFULLY - where did all this talent come from!), new daughter cried, wife cried, father in law cried.... a great time was had by all!

The best part is I get a new, cute daughter and didn't have to go through the pain to get her here.

Kinda like buying an already built 4x4 really.

Well kinda. In a way.

I will post some pix when I get a chance.

Sweet! I was wondering where his truck was the other night (my buddy lives in the same apt. complex), thought maybe it was that time already! Congrats Justin and family! I'm 3 weeks into it and it's been awesome! Hope all goes well for you too!

Thanks for the kind words... but I've told him not to make the same mistakes I made (make?). That is boring.

Go make your own mistakes kid!! :lmao: Lots more exciting.

You'll go farther than I did... and that's great! Feels good to give you two a great starting point. Now go do better!!

I've said it before, when I was 18 my dad was dumb as a box of rocks. I knew it all and so I went out in the world to prove him wrong. One day a few years later as a middle 20-something I was back at the house talking to him and was just floored at how much he'd learned in those years. I've realized in the past couple of years that the man is truly a sage, if only he'd have known all that when I was a teenager.

Congratulations Bill. Quite an accomplishment.

I had a chance to congratulate Justin personally this morning. Saw him as I was running down the "B" concourse on my way to a flight. He said something about Maui. I wished I was going with them instead of to Milwaukee. :D

Yes she is.

She has already started calling me 'Dad'. :o

Mostly I'm afraid of whether it will cause back problems, this "getting wrapped around her little finger" thing...

Yep, and his mother has repeatedly noted that her son gets to go to Hawaii before SHE does.

Sheesh, I do a good thing and I'm STILL in trouble!!!!!!!! :lmao:

You know, this is one case where live pics and thread updates are not expected. Photos of sunsets in Hawaii can wait until you get back home. Screw the Internet and the real world, go have fun for goodness sakes.

Wise words spoken! Resist the computer or any outside distractions! This is an event that you will never forget....your wife will not let you! Make some good memories! :homer::bowdown::Princess:
