All,

I need to find who does the best powder coating in the area?

I am up north of Denver, but can travel down to Denver for someone who can match the RAL Number of a piece that is already powder coated.

Industrial equipment application.

Any/All help is appreciated!

DON'T USE ROADRUNNER FABRICATION up around 54th and I25.

F&#$D up my stuff and I ended up in court. A year of my life, a week off from work, getting them served with papers, collecting, mediation and court appearance....

They knew they were in the wrong... but I had to fight them to get the money ($7,500)

It was a number of years ago.... but they turned my irreplaceable unobtainium parts in to scrap metal.

I have used Denver Bumper and Chrome a couple times and was pleased. The stripped the chrome off the boost tubes for my turbo and coated them, powder coated my throttle body and did a nice job with the masking and also took care of a couple other engine parts for me. They did a good job plugging threaded holes so I don't have to chase them with a tap. They are right at 8th ave and I 25 on the east side.

The black stuff on my engine in this photo was all coated there.

I've had very good results from Powder Coating Specialties (http://www.powdercoatingspecialties.com/) They are west side.

Last thing they did for me was my exhaust manifolds on my 80 after I ported and de-slagged them. The hightemp silver ceramic PC they used is holding up very well and turn around time was fast!

Premium Powder, North of Denver at the Firestone exit.

They did all the work on my 80 and I recommend them. Had one small issue and they took care of it.

Ah, you just answered the question I was forming in my mind.

Ceramic coating inside and out, a modified stock crossover pipe.

TJ you may want to PM Groucho... they do powdercoating and their shop is north edge of Longmont, hwy 66. I have no idea their availability but everything I've had them do I've been happy with.

They have other colors besides the gray you didn't like http://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/149717-grey-powder-coated-60-rims-red-40-a.html :)

Uh oh, I hope I did not hurt your feelings!

Thanks for the heads-up on Groucho!

Thanks All, I guess the RAL method is for European colors, and not well used here...

So I am striking out, let me know if you have any other resources...

I've used Colorado Powder Coating in Commerce City with good results.
