Ken, the San Rafael Swell is located west of Green River Utah. The town of Green River is about a half hour west of the turn of for 191/Moab. To get to the San Rafael Swell from Green River, you continue west on I-70 out of town for maybe 15-20 minutes. I-70 cuts the Swell into two parts, north and south.

Your time line pretty close. Here is a link for a map of the area http://www.castlecountry.com/map/swell_map.pdf the wedge overlook is NW of Green River.

I may be able to make this trip

Hope we get to see some of you.

Our Friday meeting spot will be the Wedge Overlook, ~1.5 hours from Green River by dirt or pavement. I'll have GPS coordinates and updated information for all those planning on attending. If you have any specific questions I can answer in the meantime feel free to ask!

Oh, a few have asked so I thought I would mention it. The run is full... however some of those full spots are for our Rising Sun brethren :D We need to know how many of you are planning attending asap but we can do our best to accommodate all.
