Thanks guys. 3 7 today. That's right 37. Born in the 60's (barely). I remember the bicentennial. I remember my first 1980 quarter. I remember the adds for the Chevy Citation (It's the FIRST Chevy of the 80's....). I think "That 70's Show" is seriously funny. :lmao: :lmao:

I remember when we thought Farah Fawcett was hot, until Bo Derek came on the scene and re-wrote the definition. I think Jack Tripper had a pretty good gig, and I saw Styx, the Cars, BTO and many others that can now only be found on Jack105 in concert. For that matter, I saw BTO (Thats how we talked back then, we didn't have a second to spare. It's TCB by BTO... :homer: ) at Mardi Gras on $1 pitcher night back when you could still drink 3.2 at the age of 18.  :boozer:

That dates me worse than anything, anybody else remember the 3.2 weekend rotation, Mardi Gras (and I'm talking about the gigantic beer hall on Hampden, not the party in NO) first for some warm up pitchers, and then downtown to Thirsty's where the party really got moving?

Anyway, back to my old man reminiscing. My first album was either the Grease soundtrack, the Star Wars soundtrack or Shaun Cassidy, I can't actually remember, but I know all three are safely tucked into my dad's rather large LP collection. My first cassette tape was Devo-Freedom of Choice. Whip it good.....

That's enough for now. Here's the kicker. I didn't live in a house with cable tv until my 2nd year of college. Now that's old. For that matter I also finished college WITHOUT a computer. Take that you young wippersnappers...

Back to work until tonight when I'll hoist a few  . Unfortunately a few means one or two these days, but that's how it goes. As the saying goes, old age beats the alternative. :D

Oh yeah...3.2 beer rocked! Or at least we thought it did :hill: Mardi Gras and Thirty's...Playing quarters and consuming mass quantities of cheap beer :thumb:

Sometime I wonder how I survived it all :D

Oh, and HAPPY BDAY!

Wow thanks you guys. Snuck out of EJS a day early. Actually had a pretty good time, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Of course I didn't get to go out on any trails while I was there (all work) but town itself was a lot quieter than the time I was there during Hot rod week. Most people seemed pretty well behaved. Actually saw some nice jeeps, (and some nice LC's, 4runners, D90's, Unimogs and anything else you can imagine).

So I made it another year. Its all good....
