I am throwing around the idea of building a cruiser and ditching my Taco. Intrested in a solid 62 series or 80(w/lockers) built or stock.

Well there's no question in my mind, unless you like the classy looks of the 62, and there's nothing wrong with that, then focus on the 95-97 80 series. And there seem to be more built 80's for sale right now than ever.. maybe that will just be the case for a while. There's that Tundra V8-swapped one in Utah, the exo'd red one... I kinda wish I was needing to get into a built 80 there's a lot to choose from.

Boulder Toyota had a 62 on the lot not too long ago. Seemed like a nice rig.

Just remember - chicks dig a guy with bedsides.:bolt:

Well, I am still throwing around ideas but these thoughts may be put off for a while. I need to find a way to get the wife on my side of things who at this point does not care much for offroading, being bounced around and does not like getting dirty.:( (where's the fun?) No worries though, I won't give either of them up (offroading or the wife). It would make decisions much easier however.

If she doesn't like being bounced around then skip the 62 for sure and maybe skip the 80 too and go right to 100

The 80 is nice and my wife has warmed up to doing the scenic stuff like ouray, moab, etc. and this is someone who gets car sick.

I'll say one thing that was nice was after we hiked the joint trail to turn on ac. That never happened with my 70 or a 40

Have Profit's build you a 4-link 62 on 39's. With an automatic, so Mrs Gmann can drive it
