Hi All,
I'm looking to purchase 4 Goodrich 35x12.50/17 KM2's. Anyone know who has the best price?
Thanks

Discount Tire always gets my vote. Great service, great support with buying the certs, will match any price. Can't beat them. Some are staffed with brainless monkeys but I have not experienced that at all around Littleton.

Cruzrman,

Did you install these on your FJC yet? If so do you mind posting a side shot of you rig? I plan on going to these same size tires once the 285's wear out and I want to see how they look.

I got 'em yesterday and they look great. I'll post up some photos this afternoon. By the way, 4 Wheel Parts has them on sale plus a $100.00 instant rebate which Discount matched. I paid $253.00 each.

Good deal. You will be happier going to Discount vs. 4wheel.

Well, the timing was perfect. I got to try my new KM2's in every possible type of road condition imaginable today. In deep snow they were excellent, spitting out huge white chunks. Deep slush hardly fazed 'em and changing lanes on the highway was a breeze. On wet pavement they stuck like glue. I should mention that I had them siped.
This is by far the best tire I have ever run. It tracks straight, even on grooved pavement, it rides like a luxury highway tire, and is very quiet for an aggressive tire. I love 'em.

Is that a factory color scheme? It's so evil. I love it. It may be the first FJC to really move me.

Lookin good......did you have to remove the plastic fender dealies in order to fit the 35 x 12.50's?

I'm a believer now that siping is the way to go (depending on the tire) and not only helps with traction but with noise. Many complain that Toyo MTs are loud and I've read more than one report that the KM2s are loud. My siped Toyos are NOT loud and apparently your siped KM2 aren't either. I have noticed as the siping is wearing down that the Toyos are in fact getting louder. Nice to hear that Discount still sipes tires as I've read a couple posts on MUD that say they no longer do and I keep forgetting to ask them

Oh, and those tires look great on the FJ :thumb:

You made my day. To have my FJC called "evil" is exactly the response I've been working toward for 3 1/2 years. Thanks.

Thanks,
I had to sell my Saiga shotgun and a few other items to get them (no fun).

I drove 35" KM2's for about a year with no siping on my 97 80. They were great tires on/off road in all conditions except ice. Got them siped about a month ago and it made a HUGE difference in the slick stuff. Only draw back is they are louder now on the road but still very tolerable. BTW, they are the best rock stickin tires if have ever run.
