This was Sara's first club event. She had a great time as well - thanks everyone for making her feel welcome. The highlight for me was little Jaeden thinking I am Santa Claus. Made my year!

Wow. That was a lot of people. We had a great time. Thanks Jeff for hosting, good job! :thumb:
John, Jaeden really thought you might be the REAL Santa Claus. Halfway home she woke up and told us, "If you guys see a red nosed reindeer you have to stop the car and wake me up, okay?" We had to promise.

We had to promise. That is so freakin' cool. This has been a hard year, and knowing I inadvertently helped Jaeden continue to believe just makes up for a whole lot of crap. Thank you for telling me!

Twas a rare sighting of Three Wheel Ben :D

I think he was saying "I am still waiting for Matt to call me back :D"
We had a great time. Thanks, Jeff and Anne!
Worthy of note: Even though the party was held in a Northside-friendly location, the Southsiders made a strong showing.
Here are a few pictures:
Bruce Lawson and his lovely wife
DaveInDenver and Kirsten Armbruster
Lots of RS members!
Michele and Violet Nakari
Jeff Zettl won the prize (that he brought): a "Yes We Can" puzzle!
Chris Davis and his 1-year-old girl
Perry Loughridge enjoys the refreshing taste of beer
Bill Morgan demonstrates how to fix a radiator with a shotgun

I do have to admit that the North Side made a pretty poor showing all-in-all. From memory the North Side contingent included: Nakman and family, RedCreeper and family, Mendocino and family (obviously), 80lolux4x4 and significant other, Largeone and wife, and Convert and Dad. I am sure I am missing some names.
Overall I counted about 48 adults and 12 kids. By my back of the envelope math the South Side represented 75% of the adult attendees.
Speaking for my family we had a great time and keeping the kids in the basement or outside making s'mores at the fire was a winning strategy. Thanks for all who came. I think you all left me with about 8 cases of beer so if my posting looks a little odd in the near future you know why...:eek:
If anyone is thirsty come on by...:thumb:

Kirsten really enjoyed meeting new Toyota widows and realized that we're not all greasy fingernail, bloody knuckle freaks.
Dave, your prose implies that this is a bad thing! I thought I resembled that remark...:D Well, maybe you are referring to someone else, like my lovely and tolerant wife.

Sorry for the slow reply. Did a day trip to SLC yesterday and man i am beat. Had a great time seeing everyone. Thanks for hosting a great party. Oh and Alexis is all good after we picked up her puppy she forgot all about the trap.
Dan, tell Jaeden i met santa yesterday and the red nose one was at home resting for the big event so she did not miss a thing. Good seeing you guys.
Till next time.
