I know you all consider mud to have have varying levels of credibility, and that's fine, same here. So you can make up your own mind on what the truth is on this one..

But I started reading this last night and kind of got sucked in, what started out entertaining I thought turned somewhat educational.. so I'm sharing it here. If you have 5-10 minutes skim through this one

I think a lot of assumptions are made and probably only a few are true.

Yeah, well one thing that's very true is the fact that these new 70 series troopies are very sweet..

All I know is, when they become more affordable, I will be buying a PT Cruiser.

Yes they are.

I loved walking on the Toyota lot in Alice Springs and it was filled with brand new 70 series in many configurations.

Anyone know what Proffit paid to import his new 70 series from Hondurus?

It's up here for 6 months at a time for "service". Still registered & "lives" down there.

At least that's what I understood when he rolled through camp with it.

AFAIK he did not import it. It's still registered to his land down there or something. I dunno if he has some sort of paperwork that limits how long it can stay here.

I believe that Mr Proffitt has some land ownership as well in Hondurus and that also helps.

I would sell a lot to have the new 70 series wagon (yes even sell my FJC), it comes with a snorkel like the one posted up..I sent Toyota USA an e-mail and asked them to start importing..Can't hurt.
