I went last night with the family. I stopped by Sportsmans warehouse and they had no passes or discount tickets (that place has really gone downhill). Anyway, the wife and kids had fun but it depressed me a bit. Everything was so expensive. I guess I can't afford to be a high tech country boy anymore.:-(. I was really annoyed by the $8.95 for a glorified hot dog! What a rip. I did see people with beer and mixed drinks and was afraid to ask what that cost.
The demos were good and I'm glad the kids were free. Ann may go back with the kids tomorrow to see more demos and let Emma do the youth fly casting competition.

If you get a chance, see my good and old friend Dave Leinweber at Angler's Covey at the north end of one of the flycasting ponds. He will take care of you.
PS, you will have to look up to talk to him... :lmao:
