Anyone had any problems with the caster correction bushings? It seem like it puts the bolts pretty close to the arms. Cracking? Would caster plates be better?

Plates are too much for the OME medium lift. The caster bushings fit fine in terms of tierod clearance.

I mean that there isn't very much bushing between the control arm and the bolt.

True, but the movement in the front control arm bushings is really fore/aft compression more than side twist where the limited bushing material at 6 or 12 o'clock might come into play. The arms and mounts are narrow and the whole thing is designed to be stable (restrictive).

Rubber is better, but caster plates are going to over compensate at 2.5" and you are highly likely to have a vibrating front driveshaft while still be misaligned for a DC shaft.

I don't like poly for much in a 4x4 suspension, but this is an application where it works perfectly well.

Of course, if you are really concerned, add an inch of lift and do the plates :D
