Seriously, I won a 24 hour test drive of the Tesla Roadster. I've been at a conference all week and they had the prize drawing this afternoon. Grand Prize was a dinner for two at the Flagstaff Restaurant and a 24 hour test drive of their roadster.

If you're not familiar with this car, it's a $120,000 electric sportscar that does 0-60 in under 4 seconds. You can check them out here: http://www.teslamotors.com/

I can't wait to show up at the showroom in my 60 and leave it in their garage as I take their sportscar for the day.

I have a full year to take my drive, so I'll be waiting until warm weather for top down fun.

did you read the fine print "24 hours or 24 miles which ever come first"

I think this warrants a club event - the Rally Parking lot would be a great place to let us all drive it!

Congrats that should be a blast. Don't forget to make engine and exhaust sounds while your driving:hill:

Reminds me of the difference between a rental car and a 4x4.

There are just some places you won't TAKE a 4x4.

TRUST us, Carlton! No really! :thumb: :lmao:

Very cool Carlton!!! Before my surgery I was driving next to one on my commute almost daily. It's a green one around Longmont or Niwot. Very sweet...can't wait to hear about it!

Carlton needs to pick up one of these before picking up the Tesla :hill:

Yeah, I know it won't work with a Tesla but let's not let the facts get in the way of the fun :D

All I need to do it wire up a subwoofer and the Chili will rock and roll.

Y'know... it *might* work in a Tesla. Depends on the alternator. It would never shift but my goodness it would rev to Neptune...

Man that could generate some fun. Need a navigator? Who insures the car during that 24 hour bender?
