I may be picking up a set of complete front and rear diffs from a '77 FJ40. Is anyone interested? This is a disc brake front end and would be perfect to swap under an older 40 for instant front disc brakes. Matching rear diff. I'll be bringing them home from Cruise Moab. How does $600 for the pair sound? Offer? :smokin:

I may be very interested. Will you have them at CM? I will be there late Tuesday thru Sunday. I may even have you drop them in Glenwood on the way back.

Are you camping at Spanish Trails? I am camping there Tuesday and Wed night.
Let me know where I can find you, I will take a look and then we can arrange a drop point.
Oh yeah...do they have the disc brake assembly or is it just the diffs

Yes. They do have the disc brake assembly. I have not seen them. I'll try and get some pics to you.

Pics would be great and I am still VERY interested. However, if pics are a hassle I will see you in Moab in a week.

I'm just the broker in this deal. :p: I've been told they look "clean". The hubs don't match, but that shouldn't be a big deal. New brake pads are being thrown in. Like with anything that old you'll probably want to do a full service on it before you use it, you know, new seals, check/re-pack bearings, etc.

I'm interested in these axles if no one came through for them.
