I need some pine or the like to balance out my hardwood. Anyone got any beetle kill or the like left? I don't need much, nor do I have that much room.

I could also use a splitter (borrow) if anyone is holding...

I need some more too so I just picked up fuel wood permits from the Clear Creek RD in Idaho Springs. $20 per cord. :thumb:

I will probably go next weekend and drop some standing dead wood if you want to help out, we can each get a truckload pretty quickly. I know of a few good spots here in Evergreen. Most of the dead stuff is dry enough it's ready to burn and really easy to split with a maul.

What's the soccer schedule like?

Thanks Timm. I'll be doing a lot more in the spring too after the snow melts some up here. Right now it's tough to get very far off the road since you're dragging tree trunks through waist deep snow.

I have 2 trees down in my yard, both 30' + pines that I will be cutting up soon. You guys are welcome to them. They are on flat ground and easily accessible from the driveway.

I have a 20 ton splitter and need more wood too but.............the splitter is buried behind the trailer, camper and boat. Not sure if I can do this weekend but if you guys come over and help me move things you can borrow the splitter, tow behind. Let me know what you decide. Just don't put your finger between the wood and backing plate,DAMHIK $1300 later.

This year we burned three cords already and have maybe 2/3 of a cord left. If you decide to do this in the summer you can go to winter park and pay $5-10 for a cord cut and stacked already. Ready to load and then split later in the summer. That is what I plan on doing this summer again.

Now I just need to find a person who need to get rid of some hard wood trees.

Where are you at Gary? I can cut the wood if you want to take care of the slash. LMK

anyone up for firewood? I have a long bed truck and can probably borrow a big trailer if anyone wants to help. What is the story with the firewood permits? Also have a buddy in Indian Hills who has some extra stuff that needs to be taken out.
