Not sure if this is the right area to post a borrow request. Based upon my earlier thread about 2F for sale:

I'm looking to borrow an engine hoist and and engine stand for the removal of my 2F and an install of my 3FE. With my speed and lack of brains for this task, I may need to borrow it for 30-45 days. I can go buy one but I don't plan on doing this again. Kind of silly buying it for just one time (although I may have to if I don't finish it within the 45 days).

Anyone out there that can part with it for a short time?

I have a stand if you need it. It's a Snap on with gear drive to turn it. Plenty heavy to hold a cruiser motor.

Did you decide anything on the intake/exhaust manifold?

I picked up an intake/exhaust from an FJ60 But then I decided I'm swapping for a 3fe.

last I saw it Ricardo had it. :)

Feel free to use my shop for the engine swap, and we can store the lift and stand there for anyone else who wants to use it...

I will grab it from you Ricardo and we can use it in the shop to pull Scott's engine...

I would love to borrow it before than. I have to get the 3fe out first. So I can get the FJ62 out of my garage and send it further on its unknown journey.

Hey Scott, assuming this means you don't need to borrow mine? Might work out better for you to use the one mentioned here since it might be closer..

Sorry I can't help get mine to you, stuff is stacking up quickly this week.

Any chance I can pick this up from you at the Wed meeting at Stevenson? (RS is having one that night right?)

Hi Scott,

I have both in Kittredge you are welcome to borrow. The cherry picker has a load-leveler, a super handy accessory for R&Ring F series engines.

What are you planning to do with the donor FJ62? (My daughter could use some stuff for her FJ60).

Happy cruisin'!

That would be awesome. What's the best way to reach you?

Ige is taking it for I what I believe, just the axles. Others are chiming it for whatevers left that is available. I'm giving it away for free and Ige is passing that along whats left free to RS too.

Big thanks to Ricardo and Drew for the hoist.

I think I will still be looking to borrow FJMarks engine stand.

Scott let me know when you want to drop the hoist off at the shop. We could pull the motor from the FJ62 there very easily, and it is only a few miles from Ige's house.
