I need to get a cheat sheet for my Yaesu 8800 and VX3. If anybody lives or works nearby and are coming to CM could you please pick me up one of each. I paid them over the phone with CC I just need to give them a name. Any help is appreciated.

Darn it, I was just at HRO yesterday at lunch! It's not out of my way to get over there.

BTW, which cheat sheets are you planning on? I just carry a shrunk down copy of the owner's manuals with me in the truck.

Figures, no worries.

They have a 6 page spiral bound one for the 8800 and a card type one for the VX3.

I was just there yesterday and today. They will be sick of me if I show up again this week.

Hey I'm intrigued by the VX-3r card... if it's only a few bucks, could you pick me one up Dave? even if you don't make it to Moab I'll still likely see you before I see HRO again. No big deal if it doesn't happen, thanks. But hopefully I'll see you in Moab!

Tim N, the card is $7 so not bad. Does this mean that you are part of the teeny weeny radio club now:D Dave is stopping by my house tomorrow and I can bring it up Sunday for you just in case.

Sorry Dave I started an onslaught............:o

The FT8800 I can do! I even have the laptop with me.

Looks like I might have to change plans and swing by Tom's Friday evening. Be better for beer drinking, though...

I'm still heading over to HRO in about an hour. I absolutely do not mind picking up all of your stuff and giving it to Tom for CM. But please call it in and pay for it yourselves. I don't want to herd those cats, trying to track which this or that and who's paid.

What you are looking for is called the 'Nifty' guide or card for your radio.

Sorry Nak. FWIW, I don't mind if anyone needs a pick up but can't make the trek down during their business hours or whatever.

Those guys seem to be familiar enough with our club and we chatted for probably 15 minutes about trucks and Moab.

One thing to make sure is that you give the fella my name that I'm picking it up for you! Wasn't a problem this time but that was only because I knew which radios Tom had and that he'd told him he needed this stuff for Moab this weekend, so I could fake it well enough.

Thanks Dave. I called back and gave one of the guys your name. He said he would put it on the order, strange but it worked out.

Not sure if I can do Frifay, I am meeting jeremy around 6 to do one last bar on the cage. Did you ever tell me what kind o f eer you liked, besides free beer?
