Or something like that? Either metal or plastic. I need to move a big rock from my back yard to the front. Can anyone help me?

I've moved some rocks that size around my yard using a dolly with inflatable tires. I strapped the rock to the dolly with a chain and away I went. You could probably make a skid with a piece of plywood too.

This all seems familiar...Weren't you trying to move that rock before?

Can you winch it to the front yard? :hill:

If I can roll it to the gate I figure I can winch it out to the front. I'm worried a piece of plywood will dig in. That's why I thought the disc was perfect.

Yes. This is the rock that was moved from on top of the retaining wall.

I second the hand dolly idea. You can rent one from Home Depot for $10 for 4 hours rated to 600lbs . $15for 24 hrs. Strap it to the dolly and drag it. Hard to tell the size of the rock from the pic but 600lbs is a good sized rock.

I moved a 3300 lb rock last week with my HighLift.
