Took an eternity but I'm getting in tomorrow morning. MRI undercover enough that the doctor can pretty much "write her paycheck" with me. Both sides meniscus, ligament damage, patella, spurring, osteo arthritis.

She has explicit instructions to not fix the ligaments. If the spurring and osteo arthritis looks to her like it will definitely benefit from microfracture, she has the goahead for that too.

The meniscus is an extremely quick recovery. The microfracture will be a different story.

We'll see. No pain whatsoever but I can't put weight on it for 3 days. This is at least the 4th time I've tried Percoset and the stuff just makes me sick. Couple that with a smoke detector that chirps about once ever 50 minutes, I'm feeling pretty groggy.

Good luck, Paul. Tell them to make it bionic.

My titanium and urethane accessory seems to be working darn well. I had fewer choices. They may or may not be growing cartilage from your own stem cells in my lifetime but possibly in my kids'.

Hope the recovery goes well and quick Paul!

Have someone come buy and replace the battery in the smoke detector for you :)
