Sorry for the last minute notification...

Try to squeeze in a ride, weather supposed to be awesome this weekend and might snow any time. So anyone left in Denver this weekend, my bud Steve and I are riding Kenosha Pass to Georgia Pass tomorrow morning. Planning to start about 9AM from the Kenosha Pass lot, right on 285.

I'll listen on 146.460 tonight on the way home from work and in the morning. Or drop me a PM for my phone number.

Dave, how technical is that ride?

Not really technical, about average. It is pretty long tho. Out n back is about 35 miles give or take. It's section 4 (I think) of the CT. We'll not be in any particular hurry as long as you're good with a few hours on the saddle.

Sorry Dave, I could not get out of bed this morning.

I know the feeling....

Have fun Dave. That's a great stretch of trail - we almost killed our dog having him tag along when we rode it many, many years ago.

I rode from Kenosha to Georgia and back once. I was bushed after that one. The trail up to Georgia is pretty rough but good exercise. Have fun.

That is a great trail, did that when I first met Paul Larger..

Paul remember that trail??? That was a 2 egg McMuffin trail for me..

Should be epic in a few more weeks with the aspens changing.

On 9/4 there wasn't many yellow leaves yet, so my guess is it'll peak up there roughly 9/18-ish. It was windy as all get out on Georgia Pass, so we did not stick around long. Ended up pulling down the out-n-back in around 4 hours. There were tons of racers up there training, so I assume this cyclocross season is going to suck because I am s-l-o-w...

Chris...I was thinking the exact same thing. My only regret is that we didn't have our wives just meet us over in Breck and ride over Georgia completely.
