Fun times had by all on Blackbear Pass & Imogene-Saturday - 12 Trucks (5-80's, 2-62's, 2-60's, 1-40, 1-4Runner & 1-FJ Cruiser). One flat tire on Idelle's 80 after hitting a rock and Art had a carburetor issue that delayed the ascent of Imogene but cleared up and made it in okay. Now it's  and hot springs time!

Yep! And our group came across another ATV accident coming down Imogene to Ouray where two riders went down over a steep step and crashed. Idelle gave first aid to both riders. The passanger cut up her face pretty bad,but no broken bones.

Several pictures from today's run over Engineer to Lake City and back over Cinnamon to Silverton. 4 trucks on this run. (1-80, 2-60's & 1-62). Some of the others did other runs or slept in.

But we had a hugh treat just after we passed Howardsville about 5 miles from Silverton. Check out the two bull moose fighting over the cow laying in the grass watching!

I did not take many pictures as when I was not driving I was holding Bridger. But here is one of Brendan on Poughkeepsie Gulch lifting a rear wheel. We had 6 rigs going up today. And I'd better give credit to Marianne for this pic. Most of them really. I forgot my memory card at home:doh:

Rachel and I were beat, so we decided to sleep in the second day. We looked through the internet and found a great short trail that took us into Silverton and then walked around and headed back to camp. This trail goes up between the Red Mtns and the views were great. The two of us did it in about 90 minutes

Silverton is a neat town. Not touristy like Telluride. I likes the neame of one of the shops

After the great Potluck we got up this morning and headed home

Thanks again Dave and Adele!

Dave and Adele,
Thanks for organizing this event and bringing us all together to enjoy some great wheeling and making new friends. Everyone who attended made my family and I feel so welcome.
The only problem was little Jessica was expecting candy bars for dinner tonight and kept asking for Nana Adele ;) ?
Sara and I will get her past it.
It was a great time.

If your referring to the 80 with all the decals its my neighbor JC's truck. But its a standard Safari unit with a precleaner.

Here are a few pics from Stoney Pass, Kite Lake and the Rio Grande headwaters that Idelle & I scouted on Thursday & Friday before the Ouray Runs.

Considering including an overnight run next year into this area that could include some fly fishing in the Rio Grande.

Anyone interested?
