This is a reminder that the Colorado Association of 4-Wheel Drive Clubs will hold its 4th quarter delegate's meeting on October 16th.

The meeting will be held at the Sylvan Dale Ranch (www.sylvandale.com) which is around seven miles west of Loveland on US 34. Registration begins at noon and the meeting will start at 1:00. Dinner will be served after the meeting with a Casino Night beginning at 6:00 p.m. All guests, including children, are allowed at Casino Night.

If you would like to bring family members or other guests that may not want to sit through the meeting (yes, we know we can be a little boring) then there should be plenty of activities to keep them busy. Sylvan Dale Ranch offers several activities during the day including horseshoes, arcade, pool tables, ping pong, foosball, basketball, tennis and hiking. In addition, they offer hayrides and horseback trail rides. We will schedule a hayride during the day for all that are interested. If your guests would like to schedule a horseback trail ride, they should call the Sylvan Dale Ranch before the meeting to arrange it. There is a charge for horseback riding if you are interested.

The Association will cover the costs for two delegates from each club and board members. Other members and guests are certainly invited. The cost for each non-delegate member and guests is $20. There is no additional charge for the casino night or for the hayride. A cash bar will be available. Children 12 and under are free.

If you do not live in the area (or even if you do and just do not want to drive home), lodging is available at the Sylvan Dale Ranch. Call 970-667-3915 to make your reservation and make sure to tell them that you are with the Colorado Association of 4-Wheel Drive Clubs. Other options for lodging in Loveland include the LaQuinta Inn (970-622-8600), Comfort Inn (970-593-0100), and the Best Western Crossroads Inn (970-667-7810).

I will need to give the Sylvan Dale Ranch a good headcount by October 1st, so please distribute this email to the state delegates for your club and to other members that may be interested in attending. Please RSVP to me, through email, as soon as possible. In your response, please including the following information:

1. Club Name
2. Your Name
3. Are you a Delegate for your club? (yes/no)
4. How many guests will be with you (including yourself)?
5. How many of your guests are 12 years old or younger?
6. How many guests would like to join the Hayride during the day?

If you have any questions, please contact me through email at charlenelaus@msn.com or call me at 720-979-7534.

Hope to see everyone there!
