I just washed the undercarriage to try and figure out some of these leaks. I thought that this leak was coming from the oil pump or crank but i think its coming from this thing. http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac64/bouldercruiser2/DSC_8384.jpg In the pics it looks like it's coming from above that buts its dry up there. Is there an o-ring that needs replacing? After cleaning it and driving it it seems like it got worse it actually dripped on the front diff a bit. Its a 97 80.

Crank position sensor. Drain the oil, replace the o-ring, reinstall.

Just called Toyota and they dont show an o-ring separate you have to buy the whole thing to the tune of $160  Do you have a part number? Maybe i can just take it out and go find one at Mcguckin's

I haven't replaced that gasket yet, though it is leaking on my cruiser. Maybe some black fipg from toyota would do the trick? 10 bucks is much cheaper than a whole new sensor and much less hassle (potentially) than trying to find an appropriate seal that is oil-safe.

You can definately find one at NAPA or Carquest or....... You might just be able to take it out and clean it and the o-ring might still be soft.

I've found on my truck that FIPG actually is the Toyota-recommended seal more than a few times.

The O-ring is not standard. It is a O-ring with a flange, like this O- I have tried in the past to seal with fipg but it did not work. Have never been able to locate that O-ring aftermarket.

I have used Rocket Seals many times, but that was always OEM quantities - not sure if they will sell one at a time retail to the public.

Yup, they have a walk-up counter even.
