Does anybody have a transmission floor jack that I can borrow or rent for a few days? I'm still a few weeks away from actually needing it but I thought that I would put some feelers out before I pulled the trigger and bought one. I'd gladly put a large deposit on it so that you know you get it back. Space is limited and the last thing I need is another tool that I rarely use taking up valuable space.

Travis, I do not have a tranny jack per se. I have a motorcycle/ATV jack that has two rails on it that I use. It works OK but it does not grab the tranny as tightly and does not have the angle adjustments a real tranny jack has. If you want the real thing you can usually get one from the local rent-it-center for like $10 a day.

Thanks for the picture and the reminder that I have a motorcycle lift. Never really considered it for a tranny but I think that it will work just fine.
