View Full Version : A day of thanks

Today is a very special day at our house. Some of you are aware that my little girl had some pretty severe complications at birth, nearly 4 years ago, that led to an extended tour of duty at Children's Hospital in Denver and then ultimately PSL. Well, today, more than 1100 days later, her g-tube came out. It's been a long road with lots of gray hair for me and heck, she's not even a teenager :o. But, she's a rockstar! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers over the years! A few pics of my girl: 1. celebrating today, 2. showing her RS pride 3. getting ready to drive the 60

thanks everyone for the kind words. Ken, you'll be pleased to know that when we go wheeling with friends who have an 80, Madeline asked to ride with them. She says its not as loud in their truck!

Great news, Carlton. I know you guys have been the best, most steadfast parents ever -- it's nice to see that all you work and patience has paid off so that your daughter can live just like any other kid! It all gets better from here!
