Great looking new camera. http://contour.com/ :thumb:

I just ran across this after seeing it in Outside Magazine. Contour makes a Contour HD video camera and the Contour GPS camera which registers a persons location as it films - sounds like a cool feature for trips/expeditions. The camera itself looks really beefy (solid aluminum case) and easy to operate. In my experience using someone elses GoPro, it was a hassle to start and stop and this is supposed to be much simpler. They have a bunch of mounting options and the price is comparable to a GoPro. May have to give a try. :blah::blah::blah:

I used a friends GoPro in Moab in May 09. I did get some good video but also mis-set it a couple of times and got pics every five seconds when I wanted video and the video I did get didn't have much sound to it. They may have made improvements since then.

This is from the GoPro. - - - > http://www.vimeo.com/4640281
