Ok...I know that this isn't 4x4 stuff but i've come across a new CPU and am looking for an inexpensive flat screen monitor. Any thoughts on some places would be appreciated.

Good place to start: http://slickdeals.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?sduid=0&f=9&sort=threadstarted&order=desc&daysprune=7&icon=28

Should be a combination of TV's, displays, and other video stuff, but if you trudge through you'll find something. Here are a few:

www.tigerdirect.com Look for the upswing Black Friday deals. I picked up two 24" wide screens last year for like $150 each.

If you are not in a hurry watch woot.com, occasionally they have decent deals. Also thanksgiving/black friday is coming up. If none of those work, I get all my HW from newegg.com.

I usually buy something cheap...

$140 for 23"

usually online places can't be beat but there are good deals at places like microcenter if you need it yesterday.

Do your homework on the Thanksgiving Black Friday "deals." Last year I bought a 52" LCD on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving because the price on Black Friday was ~$300 MORE expensive.

Costco has 24" monitors for $170. I like buying stuff there as the returns are so simple.

I like the 19x10 Viewsonics.

Thanks guys. A lot of good stuff to look at. It's funny, electronics, along with wheelen is one of my three or four hobbies where an endless budget would be a major plus...:D
