This came in via email. I'm posting it for anyone who may be interested.Rising Sun.... met a few of you over the years and thought you should know there might be a project on the market.

It has been a while since I’ve been out with the Toyota gang…got involved in Mt. Rescue.

Someone jammed on their brakes to turn right as I glanced at the sign the kid is holding.

The insurance might total it because of the age…. Engine still runs and the frame is good.
From what I could tell before it was towed… hood, fender, lights, maybe radiator, and some busted electronics boxes under the hood
But it was still running and drove out of the road.
Probably take a couple grand to get it back to daily driver/trail worthy.

Let me know if someone wants more details: builder >>> Off Road Solutions (it was done right).
Engine swap >>>3.4L with a blower
Ceramic coated headers
4.88 locker in rear
4.88 limited slip in front
Total Chaos long travel IFS w/T-100 axels
King shocks front ….custom hoop mt.
Bilstine shocks rear…custom hoop mt.
Custom leaf springs
New 35” MTRs
Dual Optima batteries behind passenger seat
Custom gage cluster: oil-P, H2O-T, Air-Fuel ratio, exhaust-T
Full sized spare w/ high lift jack

Know anyone who wants it cheap… I don’t want the insurance company to auction it off.
Feel free to pass this on to the 4x4 community.

Joined RS4x4 to keep everyone up to speed...
The insurance company is dragging their feet...waiting to settle.

Yes, the rig is (was) a great ride.
I know I'm going to get pennies on the dollar from what was put into it.
(if inquiring minds want ot see reciepts...but you all know)

Most of you know that parts is parts and the devil is in the integration of the details.... and this was integrated right.

With that said: it woulb be nice if someone bought the package & slapped some new body parts on it & drove the heck out of it...
.... but if a bunch of you do a group buy and canabalize it for parts, so be it.
As long as it goes to help get others on the trail and not to a salvage yard.

Bill, how are you working this? I'm assuming you sent this out in a few places. Just curious if there is a line, or if its first to the door with cash?

Its no big deal, and again, I'm just curious. Just want to know if I should be excited or not, LOL!

Again, no worries on how you run it, just wanted to know where I stand. :D

Tried to reply to folks this morning... I'll keep folks in the loop.
Preliminary word: not totaled...now waiting on shop est. to verify numbers.

I will be selling it as I have gotten a FJ (it got to cold to ride the motorcycle)

And just like I am recycling the 4Runner...
...any funds from its sale will be going into the FJ...yes, I've got the mod bug bad.
