I just need a measurement of the approximate length on a F/2F lifter. TIA

I just measured one out of a 1972 F engine with calipers and got 2.265" I'm pretty sure F and 2F use the same lifters.

Thanks! But I'm not Chris.
If it's not too much trouble could you check the cup depth on the top of the lifter? I'm working on a conversion to hydraulic roller lifters and need to get an idea on a few parts like pushrod and bushing lengths.

We have a Rising Sun member who goes by Frontrange also, and I realized you weren't him and edited my post.
In any case, I'll go grab that lifter and check the depth for you. I thought I had a bag of twelve from the last engine I did, realized I gave them away, but came across a stray when I was digging around looking after your post. I'll check on that tomorrow. Happy cruisin'!
