Anybody doing anything this Friday post Turkey Day? Aside from spending the day at the mall spending what you shouldn't after standing in line to do it... :lmao:

How are snow wheeling conditions?

Would be but my truck is still on the surgery table waiting for a donor heart and an influx of cash.

Let's wheel then! Whaddya think, the same-o Yankee Hill or something else? I guess I'd like to change it up but got no ideas. Switzerland? Never been there. Other ideas? Kelly Flats? Believe it or not, never been there either.

I'm open and have not sliders yet. I don't want to be the hitch in peoples giddy-up, so if none of these will be safe for me I will have to be out. Or otherwise thumb a ride.

If you can come up with a knuckle stud, cone washer, wave washer and nut for the Gecko you can drive it. If Sharon isn't going to go you can haul Schlegs along too. I think Dee is working that day so I may have an open seat in the Mule too.

Don't make it too early of a start, I have to drop the Audi off on Broadway for service at 7AM.

Hey Paul I'm going to run up to Camp Dick to scout out a camp site for next year... want to check out Middle St. Vrain? I'm going to leave the house at about 9:00 or so..

I'd be up for that. I've never wheeled in the snow before so that might be interesting. I'd probably be opposed to doing "the lake" as I have visions of Russian Ice Breakers. But going up MSV is where the good camping is anyway. I've camped up there a couple times so I got a feel for some of the spots.

Cool.

Just double checking ... Guess I'll do a little hike this AM in Boulder.

Well the gate at Camp Dick is closed, so if you want to run MSV anymore this winter you'll need snow shoes... aw well was a nice drive.

I just got back from hiking. From the Boulder District website this AM:

"Middle Saint Vrain NFSR 11 Open"

Glad we can depend on them.
