Got a call from my mechanic's boss. T-case needs some R&R. :(

Truck only has 207,000 miles.

Maybe I should have stayed in the Starbuck lot instead of Moab Rim.

Good thing Santa and Visa are good friends.

That's a drag. Would it be better/cheaper to just find one in a boneyard and swap it in?

That sucks to hear, I was weirded out enough driving my truck down Moab Rim, it made me nervous to even see you up there

There are virtually no used 100series parts. In true Land Cruiser form everything is rebuildable. I've (by "I" I really mean Joe at Slee's) been chasing a vibration at 65mph for a year or so. Really had nothing to do with Moab. I'm trying to do my part to stimulate the economy. Or at least the economy at Sleeoffroad.

That's funny. I was nervous seeing you there too.:p:

I'm most comfortable when everyone else has 37's or bigger. Means someone else is gonna break something instead of me.

bummer Farnham, I was surprised last night to see your truck at Slee's shop since I just saw it there three weeks ago.. then really sad to learn it's still there. I'm sure Joe will have you on the road as fast as anyone, hang in there.

bummer to hear, hopefully this will be the last time you will have to fix it.

I've been driving a 2000 Chevy suburban lately. Why it the steering so bad on US made trucks? I have a bad TRE and 150k more miles and my steering is more responsive than this pos.

Could it be the additional 8' feet in wheel base and 1,000 lbs ? :D

So is the plan a full Tcase rebuild?

My plan is to listen and follow the advice of Christo and his staff.

Kudos to Christo and his staff. Excellent work. I can't say enough good things about them.

Transplant t-case from another 100. For those that are wondering.
