View Full Version : Welding Needed

The 40 is really close to going down the road on a regular basis and I can't wait!!! All that I have left is the following:

1. Fix tranny leaks,
2. Replace my main seal,
3. Replace my u-joints,
4. Tie the roll cage to the frame,
5. Fab some seat and seat belt brackets.

Unfortunately #3, #4, and #5 I can't do myself safely. I was wondering if there was anybody out there that would be willing to fabricate and weld seat brackets, seat belt brakets, and tie my existing cage to the frame? I can make metal stick together but I don't trust my skills to keep my family safe.

I have a friend up in Conifer that is a certified aerospace welder and can weld ANYTHING. I don't think he will do the welding for free but I am sure he would be very reasonable.. If you would like I can PM you his contact info.. LMK..
