man, that brings back some childhood memories. :) I had a minibike with 12" tires and also a 3 wheeled contraption from the 60's or 70's with a raked out front fork with undampened springs and balloon tires. The centrifugal clutch was shot so I just put a sprocket directly onto the output shaft and connected it with a chain. You had to be in the seat as someone pull started it and then it just took off. I rigged a kill switch to "stop". :hill:

man, that brings back some childhood memories.

I had a minibike and the police pulled up when I was on the sidewalk at the end of the driveway. Ole Barney Fife strolls up and starts lecturing me about riding without helmet and how dangerous it is. He's going on and on and finally asks, "Where do you live?" I point at the house 30' up the driveway at about the same time my dad comes to the door and asks "What's the problem?" The cop answers "Nothing" and gets in his cruiser and drives away.

That would be a blast to have up at the in-law's place in Conifer but it sounds like my kids and/or nephew (or myself :lmao:) might end up wrapped around a tree trying to ride it  :hill:

Bad A$$, if i were close I'd buy it for $100. I used to have a 5 horse based one, that I had up to 57mph on the salt flats. It was a blast.

This is it at the drag strip in Wendover, I was lining up to drag race the guy in the hot rod bumper car.

That picture is awesome! :) And that bike looks a lot slicker than mine!

ya, it was a fun one! Lots of friends ate it hard on that thing. They handle (if you can call it that) like no other machine out there. I use to haul it around hanging off the back of my volvo wagon, tied to the roof rack.

heading to Moab anytime soon?

Ohhhhhh....torque converter mini-bikes.....that makes childhood scars and bruises hurt all over again! :lmao: Not sure whos idea it was to ever put the snow mobile type TC on a mini bike but I'm guessing they are dead or paralyzed! I actually have one behind the shed too I should dig out. It is a little bigger and has front brakes also. Think it even has something resembling suspension on it! Many painful laughs from that thing! I think the engine on mine is shot....been a long time don't remember. If someone wanted to combine these beasts and get one running I'll hold the video camera as you reap the physics lesson! :lmao::lmao:
