I've been reading am extensive thread on the Adventure Rider forum where a guy doucuments his ride from Phoenix to South America.

The shots and videos for Nicaragua and Costa Rica have me wanting to take a trip to Costa Rica, - not to drive there but to fly down and spend a week gawking at Cruisers, lounging on the beach and wandering around the jungle.

My wife has been talking about Spring break and Costa Rica is on her mind too. Maybe we can spend some time a Ron's place

Becky and I were just there in September. One of the nicest places we've ever visited! And the Cruiser porn is unreal.... I'd be happy to chat about our trip with you anytime.

By brother has a smaller surfer style hotel on the Pacific side at Jaco Beach. Across the street from the beach. Its called Los Ranchos if anyone is interested.

Sharon would be all over that. She has been wanting to go for a while now but we just need to save a little more.

I've been to Costa Rica twice. The first time we flew in up north and stayed just north of Tamarindo. The second time I flew into San Jose (capital) and I stayed right on the beach in Jaco to surf. You will not regret a trip to Costa Rica. If you want to do a few touristy things, you could at least check out the Arenal volcano. Whitewater rafting in Costa Rica is a totally different experience...much more dangerous due to the rains and the very tiny boats they use. I think we all got thrown out the day we went!

What a beautiful country and the Tico's are very friendly.

A few years old, but there's always DMC's (http://expeditionamericas.com/) site if you find your self needing more picture intake.
