Drive west Drew, you'll find it quick enough. ;)

Personally I'm loving this winter!

I love it, I don't miss it one bit down here in town.. as long as water pricing & rationing doesn't get too crazy next summer it's all good, I'm sure our club members over at Denver Water have our best interests at heart.

Hopefully we'll get a bit of snow up in the mountains tomorrow. Seems like its been a weird fall/winter with odd extremes of hot and cold and wild swings back and forth. Gotta make use of the cruisers snow tires sometime! Also gotta get out on the skis more!

If you believe the weather forecasters, it's all about to change tomorrow.

It's been snowing like mad at my house. More snow than we've seen in years.

The lack of moisure in our area is very upsetting! I would much rather water comes from the sky instead of buying it from pirates controlling the reservoir! I water the lawn about 3 weeks ago as the dogs were wearing it off. If this storm fizzles for us I'll fire up the sprinklers again next week.... :(

We just came up the 160 from Durango this morning. Quite a storm down there. Coming over Wolf's Creek Pass was mildly stressful. I think my wife had her eyes shut the entire time. Once we got over the pass, it cleared up and we ran along the edge of the storm front on our way up the 285.

This morning was the first time my kids had seen snow so I'm hoping we get some while we're here.

The mild weather on the front range has been good for the bike business, although some folks automatically hang their bikes up come October anyway. We have been riding to work and mountain biking in the foothills so far up to this point and it has been awesome.

Usually when the mountains get pounded constantly during the weather making a good ski season, the bike business does well come springtime when everyone is ready to hang up their skis and boards.

Now, I just need fuel prices to go up and my business will follow.

I'm visiting Pagosa Springs and we've been getting snow all day. There's supposed to be more tomorrow. I'm not sure how much is considered normal but coming up from South Texas this is a lot of snow to me.

Marianne's Subaru was completely buried this morning from the last 24 hours of snow here. Sorry no pics. I was too busy running the snow blower. Still have some real estate to cover. Waiting for it to stop.

I wish I was skiing Wolf Creek tomorrow.

That makes 2 of us :D Bit of a drive from up here though. But 2 feet of new snow is awfully tempting.

Watching Denver's news right now is comical. Showing 4 whole inches of snow on the ground and trying to glamorize it as being a city stopping storm? Road conditions are horrible, bla, bla, bla....

I had a hard time coming back from my mail box today because it was more than hub deep with solid ice below. Locked both axles, skinny pedal on the floor, studded 315's, barely made it back to the house. Just the norm for us I guess.

LOL. Gotta get outta the city there man.

I've spent the last 6 days hiking through shin to hip deep snow. Today was knee deep with snowshoes on. And a balmy +2, when there wasn't any wind. Snowing so hard the bolt on my rifle froze shut. Spent almost 20 minutes getting it unstuck.

Truck had 8 inches on it by the time we got back to it, and it was warm when we left it.

There is no "local" television down here in the sticks.
