you're talking about Tom here...

Really like the restoration, those old trucks are really cool, and it seems they either cost way too much or have way too much rust on them, I always wanted one just for a driver :)

great job, show us the rest when its finished!

Those pictures are great. I was thinking about how cool it would be to own such a nice 55. Then I thought, "It's so nice, I would never want to wheel it."

I agree with you on that, however there is a place for a nice pig, just to run around on the streets! have to break up the mall cruisers a little with a resto mall cruiser!;)

Then I thought, "It's so nice, I would never want to wheel it."I want a 55 as a street cruiser and grocery getter. My Hilux is my chore truck and with the right cargo liner, an early 55 would be just as handy but waaaaayyyy more cool.

Nice work Justin. So my question is: what defines this as an economy restoration? Do you have some before photos? How deep is your customer digging into his retirement funds for this project?:o

Hey Justin! Looks good! Is this the rig that "the other 2F I'm building" is for? It's going to be way better than the average "Mall Cruiser!":thumb:

Thanks! to awnser your ?, the definition of this econo resto lies in a $ amount!
For under 20 grand! We also had a good 55 parts rig, so we could swap out the best parts between the 2! that was crutial for this build, being 55's are horrible in the rusty factor!

We have rebuilt the front end, new springs, S/R, seats, headliner, windscreen, body, work, TBI conversion, brake upgrades, radiator, rear door handle, and gear, headlights, c.c, egr, Factory uncut dash, ect...

We still have a bunch of work left on her...I will keep posting the progress

Thanks

Justin
