Jeep has very effective advertising. They created a brand and their message has been delivered to the masses. I applaud the advertising agency and their marketing strategy.

Reminds me a Triple bypass run a few years ago. Bruce was in the lead and he came over the radio as we descended Pearl Pass. "We have a jeep coming up the trail with some sort of big, chrome tube thing for a bumper." :)

Totally TUBULAR!!

There is a truck in my hood that has a Triple double roll bar in the bed.....

Are these coming back?

That bra would be much more impressive with a nice rack.

The bra can stay. However, I want to take off those flairs.

Chrome wouldn't get him/her home so he/she decided to fly?

I thought I was going to have a tough time finding my 80 in the Pike's Peak lot last week when I came home. I had forgotten exactly where I parked and there were two other red 80s along the way.

I parked my 40 out there a few months ago and somebody made off with my Hilift jack.
Maybe it was this guy.....

When I bought my first FJ40 the guys at the used car lot where I bought it wanted to sell me a Commando like that, same colors even. I test drove it and it felt really sloppy. I drove the FJ40 and it felt tight and heavy, like a tank. Glad I got the FJ40 instead. That was in 1982.

It's important to have faith in your equipment, however some people ask a little too much!

I think that guy was worried his bumper mounted come-a-long was too big, and flashy...and decided to downgrade to the winch.

It's also possible that this is his beater Jeep and the fella needs to move a bunch of downed trees from his land or something. It was parked at the airport and a lot of people don't like leaving their nice cars for fear of theft or falling aircraft landing gear.

I had that same winch on my Scout. It was for raising the snow plow.. gravity was used for lowering it. I'm guessing the Jeep sees similar duty in the winter, and that angle piece is most likely to that end as well.

Still kind of a funny pic though, it would be even better to see that Jeep up on a forest road.

So what does the sticker with the blue square with two yellow stripes indicate? I see it everywhere but don't have a clue as to its meaning.

It has something to do with equal rights -particularly for gay rights I believe.
