Greetings CO Cruisers!
I hope that all is well with you all. Want to being by saying that I'm totally jealous of you all for living in perhaps most beautiful slice of the U.S.A..... after Texas that is Anyway, I am talking with a guy that has a 1996 Cruiser for sale in Denver. Has great things to say about it, however, before I pony up the dough and book the flight, I was hoping that I could find a someone that might be willing to give it a look for me. Would be immensely helpful and my wife and I would be eternally grateful. Let me know! Have a good one!

Welcome!

Can you provide more specifics on where in Denver the Cruiser is?

My first thought would be to PM Robbie, aka powderpig, to see what he would charge for a prepurchase inspection for you and if he is available...Whatever the cost, it would be worth it IMO!

Next thought would be to have the seller get the Cruiser over to Slee Off Road on the west side. Then there is Jesse over at ATLR (atlr.net). These would require the seller to get the rig to them for inspection and it would cost $$ but IMO well worth the $$ if you can get the seller to get the rig over there.

After that, there are lots of folks in the area that could take a look at it depending on where it is and how closely you want it looked over.

depending on where it is and what level of inspection you are looking for I could take a glance at it. Is it near Boulder?

Thanks for the posts guys. The Cruiser is in Denver and appears to be near the I-70 and I-25 area. Hope that narrows it down for ya. Wondering how much the above garages charge for the inspection... I'll call tomorrow and find out. If, for some reason, he is unable to take it to a garage, I would welcome an individual inspection of any level! Has to make the drive back here to the Lone Star state! ;) Thanks again!

I don't know but I can honestly tell you that it will be well worth the cost considering what you could be out just in airfare alone - And you'll get an honest appraisal of the rig and should something be wrong but something you're willing to have fixed after negotiating price, you could probably get it fixed and ready before you even get here :thumb:

Just ask one of our members what it cost him to fly out to buy a 100 series, drive back, find out it wasn't what it should be, drive it back, and fly home

Definitely have Slee or Robbie check it out. You will get an honest and professional opinion of the truck that way. Worth the money.

x2 You have two great resources available in the denver-ish area; well worth the cost. Robbies info is http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/forum2/showthread.php?t=10843 and slee's is easily gotten off the web! Good luck with the purchase.:thumb:

I believe Robbie and Slee charge roughly $250.00 to evaluate a vehicle.

They both do a very thorough review. Money well spent.
