I'm just reposting this, but might go if I dont go to Cruise Moab. For anyone else not going to Cruise Moab, might be something worth attending for some Rising Sun presence.

There will be a clean-up of Trail Gulch Rd on May 7th 2011 in Gypsum. Trail Gulch is a dirt road that leads to many great 4x4 trails just North of the Gypsum exit #140 on I-70. About a one mile stretch of the road has been used as a gun range as well as an illegal dumping ground for many years.

Here is a short list of what will be cleaned up; refrigerators, old snow mobiles, washers, dryers just to name the big stuff.

Most everything will need to be winched out of a ravine about 20-80 deep.
All volunteers will need to sign a liability release form prior to the clean-up.
Clean-up starts at 0900 until finished, and the BBQ/party starts at 12:00 until 5:00.
Depending on the number of volunteers, I believe we can be done by noon.
I will supply all of the trash bags and I will locate 55 gal drums to facilitate winching the trash up the ravine.

There will be an after party at a restaurant in the Edwards area (exit 163) starting at noon with free BBQ/drinks and a live band.

Contact Scott Pottratz at 970-390-6672 to volunteer.
