Air France Airbus A380 clipped a Delta Bombardier CRJ Monday 4/11/11 at JFK. It spun a 85,000 lbs regional jet around like it's a toy.

Wow, impressive how rigid that plane was... I'da bet the tail would have ripped off.

Hey, you're a ME, I'd have hoped that it wouldn't tear off the rudder, the forces when 27,000' @ 400MPH surely are much higher! But yeah, I would have expected it to tear off the port side elevator the way the A380's wing caught under it like a hook.
