Looks good Scotty! But is it really necessary to have that tall of a tire carrier:rolleyes: Or is that the Dakar special two tire carrier???:D

Looks great :thumb:

I'm guessing you cut the rear crossmember to snug it in as well? What is the maximum size tire that you can fit with the gas can carrier? Are you going to build up around the basket (i.e. supports)?

I know...wait for more pictures and some questions will be answered :hill:

For you Tom it could double as a "stinger" for the rear :hill:

That is what the J**PS run :hill: Actually I like that idea and if I ever get a bug up my a$$ I would like to build something like that. Would protect my tire and keep me from going over backwards.

At least a 40. We have 35" Kevlar MTRs on it right now.

I like the way you did the pivot. Hopefully that keeps it from wobbling front to back too much!

Nice work!

Both pivots are dual sheer, so it should sit very solid all the time.

Fixed it for you :D:D:D:D:D:D

After that roll on Chinamans, I don't believe ANYTHING can keep you on your wheels there rolley polley. But, it will protect your tire. :D

Scotty, bumper looks amazing. Very clean.

I like it.. keep the 2" stick long and put a pulley up there with a small hand winch to raise the tire into position.. :) I also like how you cut the swing-outs so you don't have one long one.. I hate it when those interfere with a trailer, one of my knocks against some of the other alternatives out there.

edit: I also like the clamp-on recovery points, they almost look like vice grips. But just clamp it where you need the strap, very versatile! ok, I'm going to bed now.
