View Full Version : Kroil
Anyone ever use this stuff?
Boing Boing has a big discussion about Kroil (http://www.boingboing.net/2011/05/23/kroil.html) and other penetrating oils today.

Crash clued me into it (at least aerokroil, I think it's the same stuff just in a spray can). It works darn well, better than Liquid Wrench. It really works if you include heat in the equation or a few days of repeated coatings.

Yeah, I have the aerokroil and I use it regularly. I found out about it from a friend of mine that used to rally the old 2 stroke saabs.. he had a few gallons of it that he always used and it always worked really well. Using it reminds me of him and it works well IMHO.
I like to mix it with heat as well. sometimes spraying it on hot parts, sometimes heating parts that are soaked.
I like how it smells too.

All of the Kano Labs products I have tried work really well. http://kanolabs.com/ They don't sell to the general public but you can get around that pretty easily.
Toyota's High Performance Penetrating Lube also works very well.

Yup. I buy that stuff by the case. Love it.
